Molly grew up in Fort Wayne where she spent most of her childhood outside and exploring different parks.
She graduated from Ball State University with a degree in biology with a wildlife focus.
After college, she had several different interpretive naturalist internships and seasonal positions with the National Audubon Society, Brukner Nature Center, and Spring Mill State Park. These places taught her how to share her passion of the outdoors with people of all ages through environmental education.
Currently, she is a naturalist at Eagle Creek Ornithology Center where she gets to continue to share her love of birds and nature with others.
Even when not at work, Molly loves spending time outdoors by backpacking, camping, and kayaking. In her free time, she loves to paint, color, and photograph birds.
Frank attended Indiana University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education with an Art Minor. He received his Master of Science in Education from Butler University. He currently teaches in the Fine Arts Department of Ivy Tech Community College.
But before that, Frank taught art in the Wayne Township Schools of Indianapolis and says, “I’m a very fortunate man as I was able to make my love for art my profession, teaching elementary art education for 36 rewarding years. Through innocent young eyes I learned to embrace the beauty of simplicity and the value of expression.”
With those two values in mind, and his love of bold, vibrant colors, Frank’s motivation often comes from a single object in an unusual environment, at an odd time or perhaps in unexpected lighting: an old pair of shoes, a flower, crayons, or perhaps a timepiece will trigger an image in his mind’s eye of a completed painting.
