As a child I had the opportunity to grow up on a property with a woods and a creek. It started a life-long love affair with nature. Art has always been a dominant part of my DNA, and so the two interests merged. In 1994 I moved with husband and sons to Indiana from Ohio. I continued my career in teaching art to high school students. This introduced me to many different art media – which opens lots of different ways to express ideas artistically. Nine years ago a group of artists formed a semi co-op art gallery in Crawfordsville. I am a part of that group and exhibit my art there. Now there is a nice studio space where I work when not hiking, traveling, volunteering – or having fun with the grandkids.
